The Signals Creative Tech Expo offers talented producers in the XR space a unique opportunity to celebrate and elevate their capabilities—and to bring their original, exciting, and compelling work to a global audience. We’re supporting mid-career producers with projects in development, and from early career producers seeking hands-on learning.
A warehouse in False Creek flats is being transformed from an industrial blank slate to a portal to a digital future rich in imagination and possibility. And it’s all to set the stage for Signals: Vancouver’s annual creative tech expo.

Science World’s Creative Technology Gallery won an award at this year’s Canadian Association of Science Centres (CASC) CASCADE awards in the $1M+ category. The gallery, a 3,000-square-foot immersive space, highlights British Columbia’s vibrant fusion of science, art, and technology.
Signals 2023 showcased over 35 interactive and immersive works that question our connections to each other, the world, and the part technology plays. It was a jam-packed week where attendees had the opportunity to play, watch and interact with the technology of tomorrow from B.C. video game studios, Canadian and Indigenous artists, and international AI and bio-wearable creators.
Signals 2022 curated 35 groundbreaking projects that showcased the vast possibilities of creative technology.
