Creative BC & CMF Fund: Video Games Business Development Program

A partnership between Creative BC and Canada Media Fund (CMF) designed to support the company success and growth of B.C.-based game studios.

DigiBC is thrilled to see the announcement of the Video Games Business Development Program from Creative BC and the Canada Media Fund, which is something we helped to create. This new funding stream will support the growth of game studios in British Columbia with a $1M budget allocated to developing creative intellectual properties, and encouraging growth for mid-level and experienced studios beyond the constraints of project-by-project funding.

Are you a video game or XR studio interested in learning more? Make sure to register for the Beta Lounge @ Signals (Sept 28) where Creative BC and the CMF will be on hand to present on the program and take meetings. There will also be the opportunity to meet with Devolver Digital, Square Enix , Firestoke , PlaySide Studios, Matt Bilby, London Venture Partners, Meta, AMD, Jason Della Rocca, and more to be announced soon!
