Blurring the line between the virtual and physical worlds, the festival will transform public space across Vancouver’s core into an interactive open-air gallery featuring Augmented Reality (AR) art. HOW TO EXPERIENCE VMF WINTER ARTS (February12-28):
- Find the AR locations: (1) Download the VMF mobile app (App Store/Google Play), or (2) Download the digital map from vanmuralfest.ca
- Scan the QR codes (on signs at the AR sites) via the camera on your smartphone. Select Instagram or Facebook to activate the filter.
- Share your photo/video on social media with the hashtag #VMFWinterArts (automatically enter to win prizes)
