LEVEL UP: Video Game Tools for Performing Artists (Apply by July 4)

Developed in collaboration with re:Naissance Opera, DigiBC and Alex Coulombe (Agile Lens), this hands-on intensive is about making cutting-edge digital tools more accessible to IBPOC creators and artists working in live performance.

Over the past few years, re:Naissance and DigiBC have been exploring how emerging technologies, particularly Unreal Engine, are revolutionizing creative industries. Now, we’re so excited to introduce LEVEL UP, a 2-day video game tools workshop for IBPOC performing artists coming this November! Whether you’re curious about virtual production, immersive environments, or the future of storytelling, this workshop offers a welcoming space to explore how game engines like Unreal Engine are reshaping the creative landscape. No prior tech experience needed and open and free for IBPOC artists. In-person capacity is limited.
