Practicum Placements for BCIT’s Digital Design & Development (D3) Students

BCIT Digital Design and Development (D3) students are eager to showcase their skills in UI/UX design, graphic design, front-end web development, and more!

Whether your department or organization has design or development needs, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with emerging talent while supporting their hands-on learning journey.

Practicum Details:
📌Duration: Minimum 240 hours
📌Start Date: April 1, 2025
📌Work Arrangement: Remote, hybrid, or in-person (based on the employer’s preference)
📌Compensation: Paid or unpaid (students receive credits for their practicum)

What’s Needed From Potential Employers:
✅A clear description of the role, including responsibilities, work arrangement, and any other relevant details.
✅A dedicated mentor who can provide guidance and feedback to the student throughout the practicum.
✅Willingness to complete a short questionnaire at the end of the placement to evaluate the student’s performance.
✅If the opportunity is external to BCIT (e.g., from a small business or another organization), the company or organization must be registered with the CRA. We want to ensure that our students are working on professional, legitimate projects—not personal or unregistered ventures.
