DigiBC Receives Funding from CMF’s Sector Development Support Program to Relaunch the Signals XR Lab

DigiBC is proud to announce that we are one of the latest funding recipients of the Canada Media Fund's Sector Development Support program. As part of this cohort of 41 initiatives working to address industry gaps and shape the future of Canada’s audiovisual ecosystem, we are thrilled to relaunch the Signals XR Lab.

This funding ensures the return of the Signals XR Lab, a year-long program dedicated to elevating the creative and professional capacities of early and mid-career Canadian and Indigenous XR producers. It focuses on XR, virtual production, and immersive storytelling, providing participants with the structure, resources, and support needed to foster innovation, build connections, and develop world-class projects that will be showcased at the 2025 Signals Creative Tech Expo (Oct 3-12).

📆 Mark your calendars! The call for applications for the Signals XR Lab opens on Feb 6, 2025.
