Canadian Screen Music Awards: Call for Submissions for Video Games & Interactive Media Categories

The Canadian Screen Music Awards (CASMAs) is an annual celebration of composer’s excellence in scoring original music for the screen.

These accolades are the first to be juried and awarded by fellow screen composers in Canada, and the ceremony will be held October 26. This will be in person and also livestreamed from the El Mocambo in Toronto. Video games and interactive productions with scores and songs by Canadian or Permanent resident composers are eligible to apply for the following categories:

  • Best Original Score, Video Games & Interactive Media 
  • Best Original Main Title Theme Music  
  • Best Original Song

►Interactive productions are eligible if they were released between June 1, 2021 – May 31, 2023

►Applications are being accepted until June 30
