Signals Production & Operations Manager

New to DigiBC this year, as Production and Operations Manager for Signals Creative Tech Expo Laura Mitchell is responsible for overseeing and executing all activities related to the planning, construction, installation, and public activities of this two-week event.

Before joining DigiBC Laura was at the National Film Board of Canada’s Digital Studio where, as Line Producer and Project Manager, she worked in close partnership with the creative Producers to identify, plan, and execute interactive projects from conception through launch and beyond.

Over 10 years she managed over 50 projects with budgets ranging from $5,000 to $1.5 million, reaching 15 million+ views and winning over 50 awards including 5 Webbys, 4 Canadian Screen Awards, and 3 Communication Arts Awards.
