Partnerships & Events Manager

As Partnerships & Events Manager at DigiBC, Kristina Lao is responsible for developing and sustaining our collaborative partnerships across the industry. Working closely with our membership team, Kristina produces events and initiatives throughout the year that aim to connect, inspire and equip our members, community and industry to opportunities that serve DigiBC’s Jobs, Talent, Diversity and Community pillars of focus.

Prior to joining DigiBC in this role, Kristina co-produced Signals 2022 and 2023, and developed and delivered local and national-scale initiatives that fostered ecosystem growth, elevated underrepresented voices, and championed creative career sustainability. She continues to work in Media & Entertainment as a multi-disciplinary artist across Film, Television and Music.

Fun Fact: Kristina does the Grouse Grind 2-3 times per week and has a Storyhive-funded interview-style podcast called Bombshell Brunches that explores enriching the world, starting with self.
