Inspiring Experiences

Immersive experiences that ignite imaginations

DigiBC celebrates the work our community creates.

We can tell you what creative technology is, but nothing beats experiencing it. That’s why DigiBC works to create opportunities for people to immerse themselves in the amazing work our BC studios produce. We facilitate inspiring and engaging creative technology experiences to ensure that everyone can see, feel, and experience the magic of creative technology and the worlds it creates.

Signals Creative Tech Expo

Signals is an interactive and immersive expo showcasing bold and innovative storytelling in video games, XR, virtual production, and AI—all with a focus on world-class Canadian and Indigenous works.

Presented by DigiBC and VIFF, this unique interactive and immersive creative tech expo will take place in Vancouver from September 27 to October 6, 2024.

The Signals XR Lab 2024

The Signals Creative Tech Expo offers talented producers in the XR space a unique opportunity to celebrate and elevate their capabilities—and to bring their original, exciting, and compelling work to a global audience. We’re supporting mid-career producers with projects in development, and from early career producers seeking hands-on learning.

Science World

DigiBC has partnered with Science World to create joint initiatives, events, and interactive exhibits that aim to educate and engage our communities about the opportunities and innovations in digital media and creative technology—all to inspire and nurture the next generation of tech talent in British Columbia. Dream Builder, featuring Phoenix Labs’ Dauntless video game, opened in September 2023 and continues until 2025, when a new creative technology exhibit will open and feature another member studio.
