DigiBC (The Digital Association of British Columbia), is hosting a competition for Best Student Interactive Property. The top 5 finalists will present to a panel of judges at the DigiBC Holiday Party on Thursday December 8, 2011. Prizes will be awarded. All students enrolled in a Digital Media program at a University are invited to participate in the Best Student Interactive Property Competition. This event is an excellent networking opportunity to meet those at the top of the industry.
To participate in this competition, two things are required. You must register for the event at http://digibcholiday2011.eventbrite.com/ (student prices available). You must then submit the following by email no later than November 20, 2011 to Whitney Donaldson by e-mail at whitney@digibc.org.
- Game Title and Team Members
- Game Description
- Game Design Document
- Production Notes including game platform and game engine
- Unique selling points and comments about game design and production
- Video Capture of ingame
- Provide email and contact information with content on word document with URL link, UTube, dropbox, etc.
- Finalists will be required to be present to a panel of judges at the DigiBC Holiday Party, a playable demo of their game with a game description within 10 minutes.
- The Panel Judges will select a winner and runner ups with prizes.
*Students chosen will be asked to participate in a rehearsal of their presentation at EA Games prior to the event.
